The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for providing 90% of all estimates to customers opening and closing repair orders generating purchase orders and approving expenditures for the department. The Body Shop Estimator duties will extend to managing the day-to-day operations of the body shop offering customer service approving outsourcing of services and coordinating with insurance companies to secure insurance benefits for customers. Additionally the Estimator will be involved in overseeing the quality of work performed scheduling and assigning technicians tasks monitoring their efficiency and productivity and ensuring compliance with federal state and local regulations. The ideal candidate will be a team player with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with a proven background in estimating preferably within the automotive dealership or body shop environment.
