Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Leave Replacement

Kingston Elementary School has an opening for the 26-27 SY for a full time BCBA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for supporting the academic social emotional and behavioral success of students in grades K-2 . The BCBA collaborates closely with administrators teachers related service providers families and community agencies to develop implement and monitor evidence-based behavioral interventions and supports. The BCBA serves as a resource to staff by providing consultation training and coaching to promote positive student outcomes and a supportive school environment. The BCBA should be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. They will report directly to the Principal.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

The behaviorist must have professional certification in a relevant field. Examples include licensure as a special educator social worker psychologist applied behavior analyst or Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidates should have experience as a behaviorist or in another similar role. All prospective employees must undergo state-mandated criminal background checks (ie. CORI SORI and SAFSIS) and be deemed suitable for employment.

This is a one year appointment and commensurate with the CBA language at Bachelors Step 1 for compensation and benefits as a Leave Replacement.
