What Youll Do
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at our clinic youll be the cornerstone professional in our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs. Your role involves combining clinical expertise with team leadership and fostering strong family partnerships. Your responsibilities will encompass designing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are specifically tailored to each clients unique needs and goals. These plans will utilize evidence-based ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement shaping and prompting to effectively teach new skills and reduce problematic behaviors. Youll actively implement these intervention programs collaborating closely with clients their families and behavior technicians to ensure the successful application of strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments using various tools including direct observation interviews and standardized tests to gather critical information about behavior patterns
  • Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans with measurable goals and evidence-based strategies
  • Monitor client progress through continuous data collection and analysis making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on outcomes
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians providing guidance to ensure high standards of care
  • Educate family members on effective behavioral strategies to promote skill generalization across settings
  • Collaborate with therapists educators and caregivers to ensure consistent application of intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with BACB ethics code and regulatory requirements
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices through professional development activities
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Education or related field
  • Completion of BACB-approved coursework and supervised fieldwork requirements
Certification & Licensing:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Active BCBA certification with no disciplinary actions or restrictions
  • Compliance with all BACB ethical guidelines and professional conduct standards
  • Current compliance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements for practicing BCBAs in Texas
  • Professional liability insurance coverage
Professional Skills:

  • Proven experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to make data-driven clinical decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience supervising and training behavior technicians or other professionals
  • Knowledge of evidence-based ABA techniques and current best practices
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range (Based on Experience):

Experience Level Annual Salary Range
Entry-Level (0-1 year post-certification) $65000 - $75000
Early Career (1-3 years) $70000 - $80000
Mid-Career (3-5 years) $75000 - $85000
Experienced (5-10 years) $80000 - $95000
Senior-Level (10 years) $90000 - $110000
Salary is commensurate with experience credentials and qualifications. Our compensation packages are competitive within the Houston market and reflect our commitment to retaining top talent.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
