Blend Station Operator – Vitamin Manufacturing | Day Shift

Under general supervision this position performs specialized and routine blending activities according to established formulas and :Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) company policies safety policies and practices quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety quality and regulatory operate the equipment used to produce and verify calibration check on blend order kits by organizing required raw materials for weighing and blending the components and pre-mixes small blends and other components that require raw material for blending adding any pre-mixed components mixing the blend and preparing for finished finished blend station equipment utensils and work and ensure accurate quantities of raw materials and ingredients are used in accordance with production specifications and quality other duties as :High school diploma or GED (1) year of manufacturing experience Competencies & Attributes:Ability to add and subtract decimal to accurately use a to sort check count and verify to lift and manipulate heavy to read write and perform math to detect problems and report information to appropriate of forklift and light equipment operation and/or to maintain quality safety and/or infection control to read understand follow and enforce safety to pass the medical evaluation for the Respiratory Protection Program and meet and maintain all the requirements of the Mask Fit to maintain punctuality and predictable Conditions:Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room physical activity requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 be able to perform work onsite and be comfortable in a light industrial environment including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
