Bindery Assistant (1st Shift)

The De Pere Wisconsin RRD team is seeking a motivated and reliable team member to join the bindery crew.  This is a first shift position in a climate-controlled environment.

• Load and unloads materials onto pallets trays racks and shelves by hand
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area using hand truck electric dolly or other device
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases bales or other containers
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together using banding machine and clincher.  May occasionally use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Builds pallets and applies all necessary paperwork to the pallet and moves pallet to a shipping staging area. Performs off line tasks as needed (floorwork cleaning trays giving breaks fixing packing errors)

Qualifications :

• Should be able to stand up to eight hours.
• Organizational skills.
• Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment manual dollies pallet jacks tape fasteners related equipment
• The ability to work on an inserter attached to the top or back of a press.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.00 to $17.34 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
