Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing key support to customers via telephone and email regarding payment and accounts receivable transactions to facilitate the release of containers. Additional duties include performing a range of administrative tasks such as resolving accounts receivable discrepancies and maintaining accurate records within MSC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares posts verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Replies to customers questions regarding the payments they made and makes corrections in the MSC systems if necessary.
• Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
• Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
• Maintains and updates customer files.
• Presence required onsite 5 days per week
• Performs other duties as required.

This role requires working on-site in the office (55 Walkers Brook Dr Reading MA 01867)for five days aweek from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid workin this role unless required off-site duties are being performed.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

Required skills experience education

• Bachelors degree preferredor equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain transportation shipping logistics freight forwarding customer service etc.)
• English: advanced
• Attention to detail: Must have
• Organized efficient and able to manage time effectively
• Strong customer service mindset focused and responsive
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Great team player
• Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
