Bilingual Ocean Export Coordinator – Magaya Experience

A growing international logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking an experienced Bilingual Ocean Export Coordinator with Magaya software experience to manage ocean export shipments from booking through final documentation.

The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented comfortable working in a fast-paced freight environment and experienced coordinating international ocean shipments.

• Coordinate ocean export shipments from start to finish
• Book cargo with steamship lines and carriers
• Prepare and review Bills of Lading shipping instructions export documentation and AES filings
• Process and maintain shipments using Magaya
• Communicate with customers carriers overseas agents warehouses truckers and vendors
• Track shipments and provide customers with timely status updates
• Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance before shipment
• Coordinate container pickups deliveries cutoffs and sailing schedules
• Handle FCL and LCL export shipments
• Resolve documentation scheduling and shipment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate shipment files and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the shipping process

• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Previous Ocean Export experience required
• Magaya experience required
• Knowledge of AES filing and export documentation
• Experience with FCL/LCL ocean freight
• Understanding of Bills of Lading bookings shipping instructions and carrier documentation
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to multitask and meet strict shipping deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of ocean export shipments with minimal supervision. The right candidate understands the urgency of international freight communicates effectively with customers and carriers and knows how to keep shipments moving while maintaining accurate documentation.
