ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
• Appear in publicity photos.
• Promote casino events and programs.
• Provide fast friendly professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
• Take drink orders communicates with bartenders assist in the preparation of drinks and present drinks to guests.
• Handle money according to procedure; operate cash register take money make change and make deposits at the end of shift.
• Maintains clean and stocked workstation.
• Participate as a team member with all servers venue hosts supervisors and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
• Declare tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.
• Meet department uniform appearance and grooming requirements.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory department and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards debris and litter.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service/communication skills
• Ability to count money and change correctly
• Knowledge of tray service cocktail ingredients and/or prior server experience preferred
• Ability to earn and maintain ServSafe certification
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents In English such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area

Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal state and local regulations.
