Job Summary
The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the administration of benefits programs with regards to plan options features enrollment and other requirements. This strategic position will assure compliance and working directly with vendors to provide information that is related to navigating the benefits. This role will also support the activities necessary to process payroll.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: to perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Requires education generally equivalent to a related Bachelors Degree from the disciplines of Business Accounting or Human Resources.
- Ability to work with benefit programs Captive self-insured fully insured etc.
- Requires a minimum of three years of similar professional Human Resources Benefits programs and Payroll experience.
- Ability to work with Workday Payroll software and other HR platforms
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees faculty members leadership team vendors and candidates.
- Requires strong customer service
- Proven skills in the areas of team building time management problem solving conflict management and employee relations.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
