Job Summary

The Benefits & Payroll Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture team by administering payroll and benefits processes maintaining employee data within HR systems responding to employee inquiries and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. This position requires strong attention to detail excellent customer service skills discretion with confidential information and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Support

Deliver exceptional service to employees managers and business leaders.
Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries and coordinate resolution of complex issues.
Monitor shared team in boxes and ensure timely responses.
Assist with new hire orientation and benefits presentations.
Support People & Culture initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Payroll Administration

Review and process timekeeping corrections and payroll-related transactions.
Audit payroll deductions earnings and benefit contributions for accuracy and compliance.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee questions.
Support managers and employees in navigating payroll and HR systems.
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations including multi-state requirements.
Benefits Administration

Administer employee benefit programs and respond to benefits-related inquiries.
Process benefit provider invoices and maintain accurate records.
Support leave of absence and accommodation processes.
Coordinate benefit enrollments life event changes open enrollment activities and retirement plan transactions.
Prepare reports and maintain tracking tools related to benefits leaves and employee programs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure effective benefits administration.
Develop and distribute employee communications newsletters reminders and knowledge-base content.
Support life insurance retirement plan and other benefit-related transactions.
HR Data & Reporting

Maintain accurate employee records and data within HR systems.
Process employee lifecycle transactions including:
New hires
Transfers
Promotions
Compensation changes
Separations
Generate recurring and ad hoc reports.
Support audits and data integrity reviews.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows efficiency and data accuracy.
