Morning Star Boys Ranch is seeking a full-time Residential Treatment Shift Supervisor to lead direct care staff serving youth ages 6-16 in our Behavioral Rehabilitation Services program in Spokane Washington.

This leadership role combines youth counseling staff supervision behavioral health support trauma-informed care and residential treatment services. Candidates with experience in social services behavioral health child welfare youth programs residential care direct care or case management are encouraged to apply.

Full-time positions available! Weekend availability is required for this position.

Job Summary:

The Shift Lead / Residential Treatment Shift Supervisor leads direct-care staff in a trauma-informed residential treatment program serving children and adolescents with behavioral emotional and mental health needs. This position ensures regulatory compliance staff development behavior management implementation safety treatment plan support and positive youth outcomes.

As a Shift Lead your job duties will include: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Lead and supervise direct-care staff within a trauma-informed residential treatment program serving youth ages 6-16.

Coordinate daily operations staffing assignments activities appointments and treatment-related services to ensure quality care and program compliance.

Collaborate with clinicians therapists educators case managers and treatment teams to support individualized service plans and behavioral interventions.

Provide coaching training mentorship and performance feedback to Behavioral Support Staff.

Ensure accurate documentation reporting medication administration oversight and compliance with licensing WAC HIPAA and agency requirements.

Maintain a safe therapeutic environment by supporting behavior management crisis response household operations and youth engagement in school treatment and daily activities.

Transport youth to appointments school community activities and other program-related destinations in accordance with agency policies.

Monitor safety concerns incidents and regulatory compliance while modeling professional boundaries ethical conduct and trauma-informed care.

Participate in meetings trainings and quality improvement efforts to support positive outcomes for youth and families.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable through company vehicle insurance.
  • Must pass Federal and State background checks to include WATCH and Excluded individuals/entities search. Background checks will be completed upon scheduling for interview.
  • Must have valid credentials as required for the position.

High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience working directly with children or two years of social service education and one (1) year of experience working directly with children or four years of social service education may be substituted for the required experience.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour depending on education and experience

This position will require weekend availability.
