JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides onsite observation training and community groups. Responsible for drawing upon their experience in the field to educate and train new employees.

DAYS & HOURS

Saturday and Sunday

7:00pm to 7:00am (Night Shift)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote the mission values and vision of Centerstone.
• Provides assistance and supervision to clients in their activities of daily living.
• Document changes in clients social behaviors.
• Recognize deviations in clients mental or physical state and take appropriate action to ensure client and employee safety.
• Maintain structure and consistency with the clients through the patient/client stay.
• Develop a professional relationship with the clients in order to gain their cooperation and respect.
• Document client behaviors.
• Maintain professional and ethical code of behavior
• Serve as role model to lower-level peers by demonstrate problem solving skills and teaching clients coping skills.
• Provide structure and guidance to clients in positive ways.
• Trains newly hired Behavioral Technicians.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Effectively communicate via written verbal in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Years of Experience

One years experience in mental health/addictions facility required.

Certification/Licensure

Valid Florida Drivers License with a safe driving record and current auto insurance.
