As a Behavior Specialist youll join a team thats changing lives by providing hands-on behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings.
This is an ideal role for someone newer to the field and ready to gain direct experience with behavior assessment clinical planning and implementation. Youll receive support and mentorship while making a measurable difference every day.

What Youll Do:
- Provide direct behavior support to individuals across various settings
- Assist with writing and implementing behavior plans under clinical guidance
- Support clients with developmental disabilities mental health diagnoses and trauma histories
- Collaborate with teams to ensure person-centered care
- Maintain daily tracking progress notes and billing documentation
- Attend trainings meetings and team consultations
- Respond to behavioral and clinical needs using crisis intervention techniques (training provided)
- Ensure client health and safety while promoting independence and skill-building

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in behavioral social health science or education required
- Must be 18 with valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Willing to complete and maintain certifications in CPR First Aid NVCI Medication Administration etc.

Behavior Specialist Level I
- Education Requirement: Bachelors degree or higher in behavioral social or health sciences or education.
- Responsibilities:
- Assess and implement behavior programming.
- Create behavior plans and provide training.
- Offer direct support services when needed.
- Manage paperwork billing and regulatory compliance.
- Use crisis management skills and physical interventions when necessary.
- Set and maintain a positive culture within the team.
- Ideal for: Entry-level professionals with relevant experience or training.
- Pay: $26.14/ Hourly
Behavior Specialist Level II
- Education Requirement: Masters degree in a relevant field (MSW MA LPCC LCW BCBA-C).
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Group counseling and contracting through Sample Therapy Services.
- Provide advanced clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions.
- Advocate for clients and ensure high-quality care.
- Serve as a mentor and leader within the team.
- Ideal for: Mid-level professionals with specialized training and a masters degree.
- Pay: $27.50/ Hourly
Behavior Specialist Level III
- Education Requirement: Must be licensed (LPC LCSW BCBA or LAC).
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Advanced therapeutic intervention for complex behavioral issues.
- Leadership role in program development and client advocacy.
- Higher level of independent judgment and decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in crisis management.
- Ideal for: Experienced and licensed professionals ready to take on leadership responsibilities.
- Pay $30.00 Hourly
