Join us as a Behavior Specialist and help individuals living with disabilities achieve their goals independence and the Behavior Specialist RoleThe Behavior Specialist is responsible for developing Behavior Support Plans Medication Monitoring Plans and tracking tools that are in the best interest of the individual. The Behavior Specialist additionally provides training and consultation with staff to ensure consistent implementation and tracking of individual behavior events. This role supports individuals with ID/DD in living safe meaningful and fulfilling lives in an Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) Job FunctionsAs a Residential (IRA) Program Supervisor you will:Write and train Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Medication Monitoring Plans (MMP)Develop effective behavior tracking tools; instruct program staff on methods to ensure consistent accurate tracking of individual behavior eventsServe as the clinical representative on the Liberty Resources Human Rights Committee in conjunction with the PhD PsychologistTeach SCIP-R curriculumStay current on 633 Regulations and ensure agency policy and procedures are up to date with updated regulationsProvide support and consultation in the admission and discharge of individualsQualificationsMS in Psychology or related field experience treating individuals with co-occurring disorders behavioral needs and/or as a Behavior drivers license and ability to use a personal vehicle to transport OfferA collaborative and supportive team atmosphereCompetitive compensation and paid time offFamilyfriendly workplaceMedical dental and vision coverage401(k) retirement savings planContinuing education and professional developmentLiberty Resources is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
