This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Behavior Intervention Technician provides specialized assistance to behavior staff teachers and therapists by creating a foundation for tutoring and assistance of students having exceptional behavior intervention and/or medical needs. The Behavior Intervention Technician has been specially trained and demonstrates competency in advanced behavior analysis. This job reports to Assigned Administrator/Manager
Applicant is required to have any combination of an Associates degree in early childhood development psychology speech pathology or equivalent discipline and one year of experienceworking with in a classroom environment containing students with special needs. Certificates and Licenses - Registered Behavior Technician Certification(requirement may be waived during probationary period)Valid Drivers License & Evidence of Insurability**Blank or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted*
