Littleville Elementary School is seeking a compassionate dedicated Behavioral Instructional Assistant to join our supportive and student-centered team. At Littleville we believe every child deserves to feel seen valued and capable and our instructional assistants play a vital role in making that happen each day.

We are looking for an individual who believes that strong relationships are at the heart of student success and who can provide consistent respectful and proactive support to students who may need additional assistance navigating the school environment.

In this role you will:

  • Build positive trusting relationships with students while providing consistent respectful and proactive behavioral support throughout the school day.
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans and strategies developed by the students educational team.
  • Support students in developing self-regulation communication problem-solving social skills and increasing independence.
  • Respond to challenging behaviors calmly and appropriately maintaining student dignity and safety while helping students successfully return to learning.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers special educators related service providers and administration to ensure consistent expectations supports and communication.
  • Collect and document behavioral data and provide feedback to the educational team to help monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed.
  • Salary range: $18.24-$29.18 dependent upon education experience and placement.
