AlphaBEST Education - Before/After School Group Leader

Looking to gain leadership experience while youre in school
AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day summer and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun safe environment.
As an AlphaBEST Group Leader youll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn grow and thrive. Youll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.
Were looking for an early learning professional who:
- Enjoys working with children in a structured high-energy environment
- Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
- Is flexible reliable and ready to jump in wherever needed
In this role you will:
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages STEAM Fitness Maker and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates kids families and school staff
This role is ideal for students studying:
- Education
- Child Development
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Recreation or Youth Development
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- 18 years old and six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency
