Beaker System Analyst EpicCare

POSITION SUMMARY:The Beaker SystemAnalyst provides analytical technical and implementation support of our world class Epic EHR with a primary focus on our Beaker application for Hattiesburg Clinics Lab & Pathology workflows. Beaker System Analysts are responsible for implementing system upgrades building requested enhancements to the system and any related third-party applications testing maintenance as well as having a working knowledge of Cogitos reporting capabilities plus assisting with resolution of end-user & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent requiredDegree in laboratory science computer science mathematics health informatics public health any natural science or related discipline requiredIn lieu of a formal degree relevant healthcare experience may be consideredLab/Pathology experience preferredWorking knowledge of an EHR and clinical workflows preferredQUALIFICATIONS:Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationComposure in fastpaced highpressure environmentsWillingness and ability to learn new technologiesDependable punctual and highly detailorientedStrong multitasking and independentwork capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate documentation skillsAbility to follow established workflows consistentlyCurrent Epic certification or the ability to successfully complete and maintain certificationIt is required to receive Epic certification within 6 months of hire and will require some travelOvertime may be requiredWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
