Sea Colony Recreational located in Bethany Beach DE is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Beach Lifeguard! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$22.00 per hour
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Schedule:
Must be able to work weekdays weekends evenings and holidays if necessary.
Key Responsibilities of the Beach Lifeguard:
- Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
- Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
- Enforces the rules of conduct.
- Checks the first aid supplies and reports needed items to management in a timely fashion.
- Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications for the Lifeguard:
- Must pass a Run and swim test.
- Must have Red Cross Lifeguarding before first day of work.
- Must pass EMR/First Responder certification (offered after hired).
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
Eligibility Requirements:
- H-2B visas are not eligible for this position. International J-1 applicants must be currently enrolled as students.
