THE JOB:
As a Bartender at MGM Grand you will bring energy personality and exceptional service to every guest interaction. You will showcase your knowledge of menu offerings spirits beer and non-alcoholic selections while maintaining a polished and inviting bar environment. By connecting with guests anticipating their needs and delivering memorable service you will help create the exciting world-class experiences MGM Grand is known for.

THE STARTING RATE:$18.04

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed

• Clean equipment tools and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including cleanliness sanitation and appearance of the bar

• Knowledgeable of menu items liquor brands beers and nonalcoholic selections available

• Ring poured or served beverages collect payment and follow all cash handling and variance procedures including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork

• Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar guest service and bartending

• Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls and request product to maintain stock in bar

• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events circumstances missing items or alleged theft

• Perform other jobrelated duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 21 years of age

• Must have union POUR card

• Workvariedshiftsincludingweekendsandholidays required

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalent preferred

• Two(2)yearsofexperienceinabarorsimilarenvironment preferred

• Experienceworkinginasimilarresortsetting preferred
