As a Barista you will:

Shift: 6am-2:30pm Pay: $10.15 per hour plus tips

• Provides excellent guest service while making quality hand-crafted beverages.
• Responsible for educating guests about our premium coffees teas gelatos and menu items.
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks such as espresso café latte and cappuccino by following recipes and preparation techniques.
• Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments; transports monies to and from the main Credit cage.
• Delivers guest orders.
• Ensures guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responds to guest complaints.
• Maintains equipment by following operating instructions troubleshooting breakdowns maintaining supplies and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases shelves and displays clean and well stocked while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products.
• Maintains a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail sanitation and safety.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others; must be able to read write speak and understand English.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Must have basic math skills including the ability to add subtract multiply and divide.
• Previous Starbucks/barista experience an asset.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Ability to work a flexible shift including nights weekends holidays and overtime as business needs dictate.
