Barista

We are seeking an energetic friendly and customer-focused Barista to join our campus dining team. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a MondayFriday schedule minimal evening hours and weekends off. Requirements:

Previous Barista experience required

Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.

SERV Safe Certification

Ability to bend twist squat reach crawl push/pull and stand without limitation and for long periods of time

Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis

Reading writing oral proficiency and basic math skills

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for preparing stocking and maintaining your station continuously throughout the day

Greets guests determining their coffee interests and needs

Educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries sandwiches and other food items

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations

Use of cash register accurate cash handling and payment processing

Work as a team with others train new team members and cross train in other departments

Complete weekly inventory and order list

Clean and maintain all equipment continuously

Perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
