The Coffee Shop at Baptist Health Lexington provides high-quality beverages food items and exceptional service to patients visitors and team members throughout the hospital. The Barista playsan important rolein creating a welcoming experience by preparing coffee espresso beverages and food items while ensuring accuracy quality and excellent customer service. This position supports daily operations through safe food handlingaccuratetransactions cleanliness and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards.

This roleis responsible foraccuratecash handlingmaintaininga clean and safe workspace and following all food safety sanitation and organizational standards to ensure an outstanding experience for patients visitors and staff.

Job Description:

• Prepared coffee espresso beverages and food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.

• Delivered friendly customer service by taking orders answering product questions and recommending menu items to increase sales.

• Accurately processed cash and credit transactions balanced registers and completed end-of-shift cash reconciliation.

• Maintained compliance with food safety sanitation HACCP HIPAA and organizational policies.

• Cleaned andmaintainedequipment monitored inventory levels and communicated supply or equipment needs tomanagement.

• Ensured a clean organized work environment while providing efficient and courteous service.
