Job Summary

The Barback assists bartenders by stocking beverages and supplies replenishing ice cleaning bar areas washing glassware and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role helps ensure exceptional guest service by supporting smooth and efficient bar operations. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment lift up to 50 pounds and provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • Knowledge of spirits wine and beer as well as other products offered.
  • Knowledge of standard bar equipment to include dishwasher slicers coolers ice machine etc.
  • Basic problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Availability to include weekdays weekends evening and holidays.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Ability to work on a fun fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language additional languages a plus.
  • Ability to stand walk and move quickly for extended periods (up to 810 hours per shift).
  • Frequent bending reaching and stooping to restock and organize supplies.
  • Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 lbs. (e.g. cases of liquor kegs boxes of supplies).
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to handle glassware bottles and bar equipment safely.
  • Ability to move efficiently in tight or crowded spaces behind the bar.
  • Tolerance for varying temperatures (e.g. near ice machines coolers or outdoor bars).
  • Ability to handle slippery surfaces and safely manage spills.

Work Hours

  • Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
  • Scheduling includes holidays nights and weekends depending on hotel events and functions
    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
    The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
    • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
    • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to hear understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
    • Ability to bend and twist push and pull stoop and kneel
