Job Title: StewardJob Department: Banquets StewardsJob Pay Rate: $16.61 / hour Job Summary:As a Banquets Steward you will be responsible for maintaining spotless sanitary conditions across all kitchens dish rooms and back-of-house service areas. This role ensures all chinaware silverware glassware and cookware are pristine and ready for fine dining or banquet services; and is the backbone of our world-class culinary operation supporting our talented Chefs. Other duties may be assigned:Remove food from dirty dishes and place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing and maintain commercial dishwashing machines wash pots pans by hand and follow strict health and safety floors walls worktables refrigerators meat blocks and work surfaces clean safe and free of debris throughout the and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers include steam cleans or hoses out garbage silver using burnishing machine tumbler chemical dip buffing wheel and hand chinaware silver and glassware in designated storage areas. Track cleaning supplies and report shortages and assist with service supplies and equipment between storage and work areas also load or unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies and culinary and service teams with banquet setups breakdowns or clearing areas as coffee as complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines operational procedures safety policies and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoors history estate grounds wilderness properties culinary offerings and retail additional duties and responsibilities as required.
