Position Summary
The Banquet Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the banquet department ensuring exceptional event execution outstanding guest service and effective coordination between Sales Food & Beverage and Event teams. This hands-on leadership role focuses on team development operational excellence and delivering memorable event experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day banquet operations including event execution staffing service standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Restaurant leadership to ensure seamless event planning communication and execution.
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling for banquet servers bartenders captains and event coverage while maintaining labor efficiency.
  • Develop and train banquet captains and supervisors to independently manage events administrative duties and room set-up operations.
  • Ensure proper staffing coverage and operational continuity in the managers absence.
  • Partner with Sales on high-profile and unique events that enhance the hotels reputation and market competitiveness.
  • Monitor service quality guest feedback and event outcomes implementing improvements to elevate the guest experience.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism service and event presentation while fostering a positive and engaged team culture.


Qualifications

  • Previous banquet event or hospitality management experience required.
  • Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience developing teams and driving service excellence.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
