Banquet Bartender

Job Summary
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards recipes and event specifications
- Provide professional friendly and attentive service to guests during banquet and catered events
- Verify guest age identification and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with Louisiana alcohol service laws and hotel policies
- Set up stock maintain and break down banquet bars and beverage stations before during and after events
- Maintain cleanliness organization and sanitation standards at all bar and beverage service areas
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and address service concerns professionally and responsibly
- Accurately process beverage transactions and maintain proper cash handling procedures when applicable
- Ensure bar inventory garnishes glassware and supplies are properly stocked throughout events
- Collaborate with Banquet Culinary and Event teams to ensure smooth and timely service execution
- Follow all food safety sanitation and responsible alcohol service procedures
- Maintain knowledge of cocktails wines spirits beer selections and banquet beverage offerings
- Assist with special events VIP functions weddings and large-scale banquet operations as assigned
- Uphold luxury hospitality standards through professionalism attention to detail and exceptional guest engagement
Qualifications :
- Previous bartending experience required; banquet catering hotel or luxury hospitality experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails wine beer spirits and beverage preparation techniques
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume banquet environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during busy events and service periods
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends holidays and extended shifts as operationally required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must meet Louisiana legal requirements for alcohol service
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor (RV) Server Permit
- Must possess or be able to obtain any required food safety certifications in accordance with local and state regulations
