Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

Handle a variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters involving creditors debtors and other stakeholders.
Represent clients in Chapter 7 Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
Draft and review pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents.
Prepare and review transactional documents related to bankruptcy and restructuring.
Conduct detailed legal research and analyze complex legal and financial issues.
Assist partners with case strategy negotiations and resolution of bankruptcy matters.
Make regular appearances in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings.
Communicate directly with clients regarding case status strategy and legal issues.
Manage case deadlines filings and multiple matters simultaneously.
Collaborate with partners and attorneys across different practice groups.
Participate in business development initiatives as needed.

Experience You Will Need

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligibility for prompt admission.
Prior experience in bankruptcy restructuring or commercial litigation strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and restructuring principles.
Experience drafting pleadings motions briefs and bankruptcy-related transactional documents.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Ability to analyze financial information complex legal issues and case strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify assess and resolve complex legal issues.
Comfortable with court appearances and courtroom advocacy.
Ability to manage multiple cases deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail professional judgment ethics and client-service orientation.
Must be comfortable working full-time on-site in Philadelphia PA.
