Note

Candidates must have 2 years of practicing attorney experience including 1 years of commercial lending banking transactions or loan documentation experience. A JD from an accredited law school strong academic credentials and active bar admission in Maryland Virginia Delaware DC or Pennsylvania are required. Job Description

• Represent banks and financial institutions in commercial lending transactions from initial structuring through closing.
• Draft review and negotiate loan agreements promissory notes security agreements guaranties and related financing documents.
• Manage due diligence UCC filings collateral reviews and closing documentation.
• Handle loan modifications refinancing transactions amendments and forbearance agreements.
• Work directly with lenders borrowers counsel and internal teams to move transactions forward efficiently.
• Advise clients on transaction structures documentation risks and commercial lending matters.
• Collaborate with creditors rights and litigation attorneys on loan workouts and complex financial matters.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active bar admission in MD VA DE DC or PA.
• 2 years of practicing attorney experience.
• 1 years of commercial lending banking transactions or loan documentation experience.
• Strong transactional drafting negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work effectively with clients.
• Law firm experience preferred; qualified in-house and solo practitioners welcome.
