Toyota TFSB Internal Audit Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Bank IT Audit Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide oversight and direction to ensure IT audit engagements meet regulatory and professional standards producing meaningful insights that strengthen our control environment.
Reporting to the IT Audit Director the person in this role will support the TFSB Internal Audit Departments objective to lead high-quality risk-based technology audits across the Banks business operations and functions.
What youll be doing
In this role you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our technology landscape balancing rigorous risk assessment with strategic collaboration to drive meaningful change. Success means delivering high-impact audit results that not only meet regulatory expectations but also foster professional growth within your team and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Lead and execute high-quality risk-based technology audits from planning and scoping through final reporting and ITGC delivery.
- Develop thoughtful risk assessments and audit plans aligned with professional standards department policies and COSO frameworks.
- Review audit workpapers and test results to ensure strong quality consistency and alignment with internal and regulatory expectations.
- Validate managements corrective actions by performing and overseeing remediation testing for regulatory issues and audit findings.
- Partner with senior management and business stakeholders to provide objective advisory support and help drive effective issue resolution.
- Supervise coach and develop team members while fostering a culture of professional growth and strong audit performance.
- Oversee co-source partner activities to help ensure service levels are met and engagements stay on budget.
What you bring
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Accounting Finance or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
- Professional certifications (CIA CISA CISM CISSP etc.).
- 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar field and/or industry.
- 2 years of IT audit management experience.
- Expertise in conducting IT compliance audits:
- SOX
- GLBA
- FFIEC
- PCI DSS
- GDPR
- CCPA/CPRA
- NYDFS
- Expertise in conducting IT audits using industry-standard frameworks:
- NIST CSF
- NIST SP 800-53
- ISO 27001/27002
- COSO
- ITIL
- Expertise includes knowledge of desktop applications distributed platforms operating systems databases network systems web-based technology infrastructure and IT security tools and techniques. Various technologies exposure and familiarity with the IT environment.
Added bonus if you have
- MBA / Advanced degree or training in Computer Science Data Science Cybersecurity or related discipline.
- Experience working with TeamMate audit software.
- Experience revising audit methodologies.
