You will be drive technical excellence while building a high-performing team - ensuring we deliver robust scalable backend systems that power seamless Web3 payments. This role is perfect for a crypto-native engineering leader who excels at balancing technical depth with people management

• Own the overall output of the backend engineering team - deliver reliable scalable infrastructure that supports our growing Web3 payments platform

• Lead mentor and grow a team of backend engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning

• Collaborate with product and protocol teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

• Establish engineering best practices code quality standards and deployment processes

• Lead incident response and post-mortem processes to continuously improve system reliability

• Experience as an IC engineer with staff level output

• Strong technical background in distributed systems APIs and database design

• Opinions on a modern cloud stack

• Leadership experience in high-performing engineering teams

• Experience with payment systems financial infrastructure or fintech applications

• Exceptional communicator who can translate technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders

• Data-driven approach to decision making with focus on system performance and team productivity
