Job Description/ Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 5 8 years of experience in building and managing Azure-based CI/CD pipelines containerization using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration. The candidate will play a key role in designing implementing and optimizing scalable DevOps solutions ensuring high availability reliability and automation maturity across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML.
Develop reusable modular and scalable pipeline templates and frameworks.
Lead the automation of build release and deployment processes across environments (Dev QA Prod).
Containerize applications using Docker and manage image lifecycle and optimization.
Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters (AKS preferred).
Define and implement deployment strategies (Blue-Green Canary Rolling deployments).
Collaborate with development QA and architecture teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Implement monitoring logging and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor Prometheus Grafana.
Ensure security best practices (DevSecOps) in pipelines and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex pipeline failures cluster issues and performance bottlenecks.
Optimize cost performance and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
Maintain documentation standards and governance for CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
5 8 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in writing YAML-based pipelines and templates.
Solid experience in Docker containerization and image management.
Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS or other managed clusters).
Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes deployments.
Proficiency in Git-based version control and branching strategies.
Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell Bash or Python).
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts automation and release management.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Good understanding of networking security and cloud architecture basics.
Preferred Qualifications
