Position Title: AWS Solutions Architect

Location: New York NY

Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Note: We require a hands-on AWS Solutions Architect with exposure to Java. While deep Java expertise is not required candidates must have practical Java development experience as this is an application-based project.

• really technical and hands on with most of the AWS services
• recent AWS exp is must
• dont need a devops guy need a proper cloud architect
• financial domain preferred but not a deal breaker
• dont need a expert in java just a familiarity
• knowledge of design patterns
• need a individual contributor

Job Description:

• Expert in architecture disciplines
• Expert in architecture and design across all systems of the LOB.

Job responsibilities:

• Create complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design.
• Advises cross functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Serves as the functions go to subject matter expert.
• Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies.
• Creates durable reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions.
• Champions the firms culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect.
• Provides architectural direction and guidance for current and future state platform engineering efforts.
• Work closely with cross functional teams including developers engineers product managers and business stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to nontechnical audience.
• Required qualifications capabilities and skills
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 plus years applied experience preferably in Banking domain.
