Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Snowflake Architect to lead cloud data platform modernization data lake data warehouse and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture Snowflake data warehousing data migration ETL/ELT frameworks infrastructure automation and cloud-native data engineering solutions.
The role involves designing scalable secure and high-performance data platforms driving cloud transformation programs mentoring technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide data solutions. Candidate profile aligns with large-scale Healthcare Financial Services and Enterprise Data Modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement enterprise-scale data lakes and cloud data warehouse solutions on AWS and Snowflake.
Design and build scalable ELT/ETL frameworks using Snowflake AWS Glue Lambda and Step Functions.
Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises databases and applications to AWS.
Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze Silver Gold layers) for modern data platforms.
Design CDC-based data integration solutions using AWS DMS Snowpipe Streams and Tasks.
Establish data governance security controls role-based access management and compliance standards.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for data platform deployments.
Optimize Snowflake performance storage compute utilization and cloud infrastructure costs.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onshore and offshore teams.
