AWS Network Engineer

Job Description:
Stratacent is seeking an AWS Cloud Network Engineer to design implement and support secure and scalable AWS cloud networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and extensive expertise in AWS networking including VPCs subnets routing connectivity security and cloud network architecture. Strong experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation is preferred. The role primarily focuses on AWS cloud networking and on-premises networking experience is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage VPCs subnets route tables NAT/Internet gateways Transit Gateway and Direct Connect
• Implement VPN (Site-to-Site Client VPN) and hybrid connectivity between on-prem and AWS
• Configure and manage security groups NACLs AWS Network Firewall and WAF
• Set up and monitor Route 53 (DNS) Load Balancers (ALB/NLB/GLB) and CloudFront
• Implement network segmentation VPC peering and PrivateLink for multi-account architectures
• Monitor network performance/health using CloudWatch VPC Flow Logs and third-party tools
• Automate network provisioning via Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC)
• Troubleshoot connectivity latency and routing issues across environments
• Ensure compliance with security standards (SOC 2 HIPAA PCI as applicable)
• Collaborate with cloud architects security and DevOps teams on infrastructure design
• Familiarity with Cisco/Palo Alto

• Bachelors degree is required.
• 7 Years of experience is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud
• Extensive experience in AWS Networking
• Strong expertise in VPC and Subnets
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud networking architecture
• Primarily looking for AWS cloud networking experience
• On-premises networking experience is not required
• Familiarity with Cisco/Palo Alto is a plus
