Position Summary:
The AWS DevOps Engineer designs automates secures and supports AWS cloud environments and CI/CD platforms. This role serves as a technical expert in Infrastructure-as-Code cloud operations security observability and deployment automation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and support AWS infrastructure across Development QA and Production environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform including reusable modules and standardized deployments.
- Administer AWS IAM networking encryption authentication and secrets management while enforcing security best practices and least-privilege access.
- Support cloud platforms and services including RDS Glue Athena CloudWatch and related operational tooling.
- Develop automation solutions using Python and Git-based workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines deployment processes reliability and observability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure application and cloud platform issues.
- Participate in on-call support and other assigned duties.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Hands-on experience administering AWS cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of IAM networking encryption monitoring and cloud security principles.
- Experience supporting AWS services including RDS EKS Aurora Glue Athena and CloudWatch.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform including reusable modules and state management.
- Proficiency with Python scripting Git source control and CI/CD automation.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve production cloud infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication organization and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
- 2 years of professional experience using Terraform in production environments.

- Responsible for protecting data entrusted to HHIT by customers or other parties by strictly adhering to HHITs data security and privacy policies and procedures as well as HIPAA PIPEDA and all other applicable law.
- Speaking and writing English is a requirement for this position
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
