Job Summary

Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer
Job Location: St Louis MO /Dallas TX (Hybrid 3 Days)

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Design build and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS cloud platforms.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Monitor system performance availability and security using CloudWatch Splunk Datadog or similar tools.
Automate deployment configuration management and operational tasks.
Collaborate with development QA and infrastructure teams for release management and production support.
Ensure high availability disaster recovery backup and security best practices.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across development staging and production environments.
Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2 S3 Lambda IAM RDS VPC CloudWatch Route53 ECS/EKS.
Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills in Bash Python or Shell scripting.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
