Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology Test & Evaluation Program Mission Support Engineering & Analysis and Training.

Responsibilities

As an Aviation SME Technical Trainer you will:

  • Conduct material and operational assessments of aviation equipment aboard US Navy Ships
  • Certify ships in the basic phase of training
  • Provide training and assessments at the senior technician level (often E8-E9 audience) and ships wardrooms
  • Provide training to ships company on process improvement recommendations to all levels of the shipboard Chain of Command
  • Will be assigned to TMIT Blue
Qualifications
  • 20 years of shipboard experience as an AB (Handling) or AB (Fuels)
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Graduate of ABH or ABF A and C Schools
  • Requires recent experience conducting technical briefs at all levels of shipboard managers/technicians
  • Significant experience with aviation material and operational assessments
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $78000.00/Yr. - USD $86000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
