WHAT YOULL DO

As a Used Car Technician youll play an important role in ensuring our pre-owned vehicles are properly inspected serviced repaired and ready for retail sale.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections of used vehicles.
  
• Diagnose mechanical electrical and drivability concerns.
  
• Complete general automotive repairs and preventative maintenance.
  
• Perform oil changes brake repairs fluid services and other routine maintenance.
  
• Inspect and repair suspension and steering components.
  
• Identify additional repairs needed to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
  
• Complete reconditioning work accurately and efficiently.
  
• Perform quality-control inspections and road tests after repairs.
  
• Document repairs and vehicle condition.
  
• Collaborate with Used Car Management Service Parts and Sales teams.
  
• Help keep vehicles moving efficiently through the reconditioning process.
  
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• Previous automotive technician experience.
  
• At least 1 year of dealership experience required.
  
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
  
• Experience with general automotive repairs and maintenance.
  
• Ability to inspect vehicles and identify mechanical concerns.
  
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
• Dependable professional and team-oriented work ethic.
  
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Used vehicle reconditioning experience.
  
• Luxury or European automotive experience.
  
• Audi experience.
  
• ASE certifications.
  
• Electrical diagnostic experience.
  
• Experience in a high-volume dealership service or reconditioning department.
