Job Summary
Sands Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team.
We are seeking someone who understands dealership title processing vehicle registrations lien releases retail paperwork and state title requirements and can keep transactions accurate and moving efficiently.
- Process vehicle titles registrations transfers and related paperwork
- Process lien releases and title corrections
- Review deals and verify title documentation for accuracy
- Work closely with Sales Finance Accounting and Management
- Maintain accurate vehicle and title records
- Track outstanding titles and registration paperwork
- Submit and follow up on title and registration transactions
- Communicate with customers regarding title and registration status
- Ensure paperwork meets state and dealership requirements
- Enter and maintain information in CDK
- Assist with other dealership accounting and administrative duties as needed
- Previous automotive dealership title experience required
- Strong understanding of automotive title and registration processes
- CDK experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of dealership sales and finance paperwork
- Experience with lien releases title transfers and out-of-state transactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dealership team
$22$26 PER HOUR DOE
Pay based on automotive title experience dealership experience and qualifications.

Required Skills:
Automotive dealership Internet/BDC experience is REQUIRED. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as an Automotive Internet Director Internet Manager BDC Director or BDC Manager Experience successfully managing 12 employees Strong understanding of the complete automotive Internet sales process Proven ability to improve lead response appointments show rates and sales conversions Strong CRM knowledge Experience managing high volumes of Internet leads Excellent leadership and coaching abilities Strong understanding of dealership KPIs and performance reporting Ability to identify breakdowns in process and quickly correct them Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to create accountability while maintaining a positive high-performance culture DriveCentric and/or Tekion experience strongly preferred
