Group 1 Bob Howard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is growing and looking to add Automotive Technicians of all skill levelsfrom entry-level to experienced and master-certifiedto our team! *Candidates without hands-on automotive experience must be currently enrolled in or have completed an automotive technician training program to be considered.
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics troubleshooting and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors
- Automotive experience or formal technical training required (dealership experience preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Must pass background check MVR and drug screening
