- Lead coach and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales objectives.
- Recruit train and develop sales consultants to improve performance and customer service.
- Monitor sales activities key performance indicators (KPIs) and dealership profitability.
- Assist sales staff in closing vehicle sales and resolving customer concerns.
- Ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the buying process.
- Manage inventory to maintain the proper mix of vehicles and maximize turnover.
- Collaborate with the Finance & Insurance (F&I) department to facilitate financing and product sales.
- Review deals for accuracy profitability and compliance with dealership policies.
- Analyze sales reports market trends and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies.
- Establish pricing strategies and approve vehicle discounts within dealership guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all federal state and local regulations governing automotive sales.
- Foster a positive high-performance team culture.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field preferred.
- 35 years of automotive sales experience with prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership coaching and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS) CRM software and inventory management tools.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
