This position is responsible for preparing painting refinishing and tinting vehicles while maintaining high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience with automotive paint applications color matching window tint installation and vehicle preparation techniques.
- Prepare vehicles and components for painting including sanding masking priming and surface preparation.
- Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications.
- Apply paint clear coats and finishes using professional spray equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality appearance and finish.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
- Maintain paint booths tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
- Install automotive window tint on various vehicle makes and models.
- Cut and fit tint film accurately to vehicle windows.
- Ensure installations are free of bubbles creases and defects.
- Remove and replace tint when necessary.
- Follow all applicable state and local tint regulations.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently while meeting production and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding job status and customer requests.
- Assist with other shop duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in automotive painting refinishing or window tinting preferred.
- Knowledge of paint preparation color matching and spray equipment operation.
- Experience installing automotive window tint.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to stand bend lift and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
- Frequently stand walk bend and reach.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Work in an automotive shop environment with exposure to paint chemicals and shop equipment.
