Job Title: Automation Machine Operator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Supervisor Inspection
Location: Broken Arrow OK
Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM

Job Summary
The Automation Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated inspection equipment used in high-volume production. This role ensures rubber components meet customer specifications by monitoring machine performance performing visual inspections troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining accurate production records. The operator is expected to maintain safe work practices while maximizing machine efficiency and product quality.

Primary Responsibilities
Set up and operate automated inspection machines according to established procedures.

Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company safety policies.

Maintain a thorough understanding of machine functions and operational procedures.

Troubleshoot machine alarms and perform recovery actions using established troubleshooting guides.

Perform in-process operations such as replenishing machine materials and stopping equipment when necessary to resolve issues.

Conduct visual inspections of manufactured rubber parts to verify compliance with customer specifications.

Communicate equipment issues quality concerns or production problems to supervisors or technicians promptly.

Read and interpret work instructions production documentation and basic customer drawings.

Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance.

Perform routine cleaning and visual inspection of machine condition according to procedures.

Maintain a clean organized and safe work area around equipment.

Demonstrate basic math skills and the ability to read and understand written English.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members and other departments to effectively communicate production or quality information.

Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify potential solutions to operational issues.

Work overtime as required to support production demands.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Constantly: Walking reaching grasping and handling objects

Vision capable of near and mid-range viewing including color recognition
