This internship offers hands-on experience in process optimization problem-solving and lean manufacturing principles while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented analytical thinkers with passion for identifying inefficiencies and drive sustainable : $25/hrEssential Duties/Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to all internal company safety and set up automation equipment according to production specifications and trials and test runs to ensure proper functioning of the automation in build and design of automation routine maintenance tasks on equipment including cleaning lubrication and improve maintain spare parts closely with production personnel and engineers to optimize processes reduce cycle times and improve product and inspect produced parts to ensure adherence to quality standards and with the Automation Engineers to make necessary adjustments to automation equipment settings and processes to correct any deviations or in continuous improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for enhancing operational efficiency and product and apply LEAN manufacturing techniques while working on internal continuous improvement and apply basic Return On Investment (ROI) techniques to justify project :Recent high school graduate or currently pursuing a technical certificate or degree in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering (or related fields).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. Experience with CAD problem-solving and communication interest in experiencing an industry with impacts on everyday life. Be available to commit to the full duration of the internship. Hands-on mindset with a willingness to work on the production in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
