Temoprary AutoCAD Designer needed for special project in Johnson City TX

Duration: Six months with possible extension

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated AutoCAD Designer to support a project-based assignment in Johnson City TX. This role will focus on updating and creating floor plans evacuation maps assembly drawings and schematics across multiple locations. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with a mix of remote work office collaboration and field visits.

Schedule:

• MondayFriday

• Flexible start time

• 3240 hours per week

• Hybrid schedule: Minimum 2 days per week in office

Location:

• Office days primarily based in Johnson City TX

• Candidate will also travel to various office locations to research layouts and update maps

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and modify existing AutoCAD floor plans and schematics

• Travel to multiple sites to verify layouts and gather field data

• Create evacuation maps furniture layouts and assembly drawings

• Collaborate with architects contractors engineering teams and internal stakeholders

• Provide drafting support for project planning and executive approvals

• Review and update line drawings of construction assemblies and material guides

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD required

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

• MEP experience is a plus

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

• Valid Texas drivers license and reliable transportation required

• Mileage reimbursement provided per IRS guidelines

• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate reliable attendance

• Remote work available with at least 2 in-office days required weekly
