Talent Frontiers is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team in Minneapolis MN. This is a full-time on-site opportunity within the dynamic staffing and recruiting industry where you will apply your collision repair expertise to deliver exceptional results on a variety of vehicles.

In this role you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage performing precise body repairs and ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Youll work in a collaborative shop environment utilizing modern tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition and ensure customer satisfaction.

Talent Frontiers offers a competitive annual salary of $65000 - $85000 USD along with opportunities for career advancement and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine the scope of necessary repairs
  • Perform collision repair and bodywork including dent removal panel replacement and frame straightening
  • Use welding and metalworking tools to repair or replace structural components
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding masking and applying fillers or primers
  • Mix and apply automotive paint to match original factory colors and finishes
  • Align frames and suspension components to manufacturer specifications
  • Reassemble repaired vehicles and install exterior trim glass and body accessories
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed parts used and labor hours
  • Follow all workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean organized workspace
  • Collaborate with estimators and service advisors to ensure accurate repair plans and timelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience in auto body repair collision repair or a related trade
  • Proficiency with body shop tools including spray guns welders and frame straightening equipment
  • Knowledge of automotive paint systems and color matching techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders schematics and technical manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Physical stamina to stand bend and lift heavy components on a regular basis
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • I-CAR or ASE certification is preferred but not required
  • Excellent problem-solving communication and teamwork skills
