Job Summary:As an Auto Body Helper youll work alongside experienced Auto Body Technicians to repair vehicles to manufacturer standards gaining hands-on training in every stage of the collision repair process. This is an entry-level role for someone who wants to build a real trade skill from the ground up youll learn by doing in a fast-paced shop environment while helping keep jobs moving efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in moving vehicles within the facility as needed.
- Assist technicians with disassembly and reassembly of vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for repair by masking sanding and priming as needed.
- Assist with minor dent removal panel alignment and other basic repair tasks under supervision.
- Assist in applying primers sealers and corrosion protection.
- Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet Kniesels Collision standards.
- Transport and organize parts tools and materials to keep the workspace clean and efficient.
- Help maintain shop cleanliness including sweeping taking out the trash and organizing tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and leadership.
Ability to read and understand repair orders work orders SOPs and manufacturer procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand bend and move throughout the workday.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Maintains a well-groomed professional appearance.

Pay: $18-$25/hr. DOE
Schedule: 8-hour shift - Monday through Friday
