Auto Body Estimator

Kolosso is looking for an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team!

If you have a strong understanding of collision repair enjoy working with customers and have an eye for detail we want to talk to you. As a Body Shop Estimator you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the repair process while ensuring accurate estimates clear communication and a great customer experience.

• Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.

• Prepare accurate and detailed collision repair estimates.

• Work with customers to explain recommended repairs timelines and the repair process.

• Communicate with insurance companies adjusters technicians parts personnel and other departments.

• Document vehicle damage with photographs and detailed notes.

• Research repair procedures and ensure estimates follow manufacturer and industry guidelines.

• Review estimates with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified.

• Supplement estimates when additional damage is discovered during the repair process.

• Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers and insurance partners.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process.

• Help ensure repairs are completed safely correctly and according to quality standards.

• Provide exceptional customer service from the initial estimate through vehicle delivery.

• Maintain a professional organized and positive work environment.

• Previous automotive collision/body shop experience preferred.

• Experience writing collision repair estimates preferred.

• Strong understanding of vehicle construction and collision repair processes.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with technicians customers insurance companies and management.

• Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable using computers and estimating software.

• A professional attitude and commitment to doing the job right.
