Position: Accounting & Audit Domain Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$100/hour
Location: Hybrid Bay Area California
Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Evaluate the quality of accounting and audit knowledge work tasks and model outputs. Identify missing behaviors thin reasoning and misapplied standards.
Write high-quality instruction specs and produce golden solutions to accounting and audit problems. Define tasks that reflect practical work.
Design challenging accounting and audit tasks and evaluation sets. Build domain-specific skills and tools with the research team.
Collaborate with client researchers and specialists to maintain consistent standards. Translate tacit accounting judgment into explicit criteria.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

An active professional credential such as CPA CA CIA CFE or CMA.
Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting or a related field.
4 years of substantive accounting or audit experience at a recognized institution.
Specialization in areas like external audit technical accounting internal audit tax forensic accounting or revenue recognition.
Progression to a senior level such as Audit Manager Senior Manager or Director of Accounting.
Hands-on experience with large language models in professional work.
Excellent written communication skills.
